"2004 Coach of the Year"
|

|
Michael Mancini, our varsity
basketball coach, as well as our
principal, was named Bay Area
Grade School "2004 Coach of the
Year" in a contest sponsored by
Oakland GMC Truck Center, Outback
Steakhouse, Palo Alto Sport Shop
& Toy World and 95.7 The Bear
Radio Station.
"Mr. M", as his team calls
him, has energy and enthusiasm
that is contagious. He extends
his teaching from the classroom
to the basketball court. Although
he knows the importance of
healthy competition, he realizes
that sports activities shape
students' lives. Concepts such as
teamwork, dedication and
selflessness all are components
of not only a good basketball
team, but also children's lives,
as they grow to be good Christian
people.
Congratulations, Mr.
Mancini.

Below see what his team members said
about him:
But the fruit of the Spirit
is love, joy, peace, patience,
kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
gentleness and self-control.
