Redeemer Needs Your Help!

In order to provide our students with a well-rounded education, Redeemer Lutheran School's parents and friends support it through a variety of fundraising opportunities. These fundraisers provide money, not only for in-class activities, but also for sporting events, drama productions, field trips and computer equipment.

What follows are just a sample of the ways in which you can take an active role in helping us:

eScrip

Do you grocery shop? Eat at restaurants? Purchase item at department stores? Buy plants at nurseries?

How would you like to help Redeemer by making everyday purchases at selected merchants that you already visit? Redeemer will receive up to to 10% of your purchases at these merchants.

Unlike other scrip programs where one must purchase certificates before visiting merchants, eScrip is a hassle-free way for Redeemer to realize these rewards. Purchases are tracked through your grocery loyalty cards, ATM cards, debit cards and/or credit cards.

Simply sign up online or download the enrollment form and hand it into the school office to get started earning money for Redeemer.

To ensure Redeemer receives credit for your purchases, please use the following information when registering with eScrip:

Group Name: Redeemer Lutheran School
Group ID: 137104928

Gift Card Scrip

Support Redeemer Students By Purchasing Gift Card Scrip!

If you're not familiar with "Gift Card Scrip" here's the a brief overview of the program:

  • You fill out an order form and pay "Redeemer Scrip" for the order (let's say $10). You receive a gift card for a specific retailer (let's say Starbucks) that is worth $10. Pay $10 and get a $10 Starbucks Card to use for your purchases at Starbucks - that simple.
  • Redeemer benefits by receiving from the retailers 2% to 25% of your total order. (The percentage varies from retailer to retailer.)
  • Gift cards are available from many of the most popular retailers where you shop on a regular basis (like Safeway, Chevron, Starbucks, See's Candies, iTunes, Macy's, and many more).
  • Making your purchases by using these cards costs you nothing extra and benefits Redeemer.
  • In addition to your personal use, these cards make great gifts! If you own a business, consider purchasing gift cards for your business through Redeemer's Gift Card Scrip.

If you don't see a retailer that you are looking for, go to GLScrip website and click on Retailer List to search the participating retailers. If you want to order from a retailer not already listed on the order form, write it in on the bottom of the order form and identify the amount that you want to purchase.

To place an order, download and complete the order form, write a check payable to "Redeemer Scrip" and turn in both items to the church or school office. Orders are placed monthly (except during the summer). The monthly order deadline is the second Tuesday of each month. Orders usually arrive within 7-10 days. If you have a large order ($1,500 or more), that needs to be placed before the monthly deadline, please contact us. We can place special orders.

Box Tops for Education

Have you ever seen the Box Top for Education logo on your box of cereal or bag of chips? Originally only on General Mills items, they now appear on many different products throughout the grocery store shelves.

These little Box Tops can add up quickly. Each one that is redeemed by Redeemer School is worth 10¢ to us.

All you need to do is cut the Box Tops for Education logo off of the packages of items you already buy and return them to the school. Collection boxes are available in each classroom and conveniently located on the information table at the front of the Fellowship Hall for Church members and friends.

But the Box Tops program does not end there. If you shop online, a online mall with over 200 merchants has been set up so that a portion of your purchases are contributed back to Redeemer. Sign up on the Box Tops for Education web site and make purchases through the merchant links provided on the site. When enrolling in this program, please make sure that you select Redeemer Lutheran School.

For more information about these programs, please visit the Box Tops for Education web site.

Campbell's Labels for Education

What could be better than a cup of hot soup on a cold rainy day? What if that cup of soup meant money for Redeemer School?

Through the Campbell's Labels for Education program, you can earn money for Redeemer by saving labels, not only from soup, but also from a wide variety of products including pasta sauces and salsa.

Depending on the product, simply by saving the label from the can or bottle, the UPC code or the products cap, and returning it to the school, Redeemer receives these benefits. Please follow the instructions on the package and return the item that is necessary. Collection boxes are located in each classroom. Another collection box for Church members and friends is located on the information table as you enter the Fellowship Hall.

For more information about this program please visit the Campbell's Labels for Education web site.
